Our Story
The Toronto Community Talent Show started as a tiny show for the residents and friends of the Alexandra Park community in down town Toronto. The intention was to provide a space to connect through showcase and performance.
The community talent show provided an opportunity for the residents to come out and participate in a fun and inspiring event. We tapped into our creativity, got to know each other better and shared our talents with friends and neighbours.
Participating in talent shows and workshops can be an empowering and rewarding experience for any artist.
Recognizing someone's strengths and abilities is key in fostering leadership skills as well, it creates an
environment of acceptance and tolerance making our community a more enjoyable
place to be.
Our Vision
Our vision is for the Toronto Community Talent Show to become the city's premiere source for developing and showcasing community talent through workshops that are engaging, uplifting and fun.
Our goal is to develop ongoing youth and adult programs focused on nurturing artistic talent and developing innate abilities resulting in transformative entertainment programming.
The Toronto Community Talent Showcase is always open to partnering with individuals and organizations who are aligned with our vision and who are interested in participating in an upcoming showcase or workshop event.
